Ingrid Nymo skriver om sorg, sex, Chanel-kollektioner og nonneliv i de rumænske bjerge. Debuten ”Kloster” ramte en tendens med sin flirten med alternative feministiske fællesskaber. ”Den røde hane” fra 2024 er mere tempofyldt.
Thomas Bobergs nye roman, "Insula" foregår på en lille ø. Beboerne på Fejø føler sig genkendt og udstillet, mens forfatteren selv mener, det er fiktion. Diskussionen om kunstnerisk frihed og autofiktion er vækket til live igen.
Snart udkommer Ida Jessens biografi "Jeg vil!", om Sigrid Undset, forfatter af blandt andet den store, historiske roman "Kristin Lavransdatter" og nobelprisvinder i 1928, en tid, da kvindelige vindere af prisen næsten var uhørt.
Jubilæum: I 40 år i år har Kim Fupz Aakeson bidraget til dansk film og litteratur med et væld af værker. Han er ikke bange for at tage svære og alvorlige emner op, men gør det oftest med strejf af humor og ironi.
Lucas Rijneveld slog igennem internationalt med debuten ”Aftenens ubehag”. Med sin anden roman cementerer han hypen. I ”Min egen øjesten” er den pædofile fortællers grooming af den unge pige foruroligende, og hans klistrede, kvælende sprog.
I ”Brænd huset ned, giv træet vand” gav Hans Peter Madsen partipolitikken stemme i noveller og kortprosatekster, der ansporede til revolution. Den sprogbegejstrede roman ”Hyldemeter” fra 2024 vil omstyrte sproget nedefra.
"At være eller ikke at være, - det er spørgsmålet", siger Hamlet i en af verdenshistoriens mest kendte replikker. Fra oldtiden til i dag, har forfattere brugt døden som et spejl, der reflekterer menneskets frygt, håb og længsel efter mening.
