Hvad stiller man op med de anekdoter, man samler sammen gennem livet? Annette Bjergfeldt skriver dem ind i sine romaner, som er store fortællinger med kærligheden som rød tråd og et spraglet persongalleri, inspireret af levet liv. I alt fald måske.
I romanen ”Den sidste sol”, går en dysfunktionel familie i opløsning, da den dominerende far forsvinder. Katastrofestemningen præger romanen både på det personlige plan og i form af angsten for jordens undergang.
Mathilde Walter Clark får Danmarks Åbenhedspris 2024 for sit arbejde med "Det blinde øje" om minkindustrien. Hun har tidligere fået bl.a. Weekendavisens Litteraturpris og Læsernes Bogpris for den.
Sigrid Undset var en stor kvinde; hun var polemisk og politisk, hun konverterede til katolicisme, og hun skrev usædelig litteratur. Samtidig var hun generøs med kærlighed og penge, ekstremt skattet og modtog i 1928 Nobelprisen i litteratur.
Jubilæum: I 40 år i år har Kim Fupz Aakeson bidraget til dansk film og litteratur med et væld af værker. Han er ikke bange for at tage svære og alvorlige emner op, men gør det oftest med strejf af humor og ironi.
Den aarhusianske digter og dramatiker Elias Sadaq er aktuel med ”Djinn”, der summer af sex, selvransagelse og ritualenergi – og digterens kølige mundtlighed knækker over i prosadigte om livet som queer muslim.

Helle Helle og Theis Ørntoft er de danske nominerede til Nordisk Råds Litteraturpris 2024 for romanerne "Hafni fortæller" og "Jordisk". Om det bliver en af dem, der løber med hæderen og de 300.000 kr., finder vi ud af den 22. oktober.
